Kyoto Carbon CreditsThere are four stages to the certification approval of carbon credits for Kyoto. The first stage is at the domestic level, where the project gets approved by the National CDM Authority (NCM). After NCM's approval, the project is sent to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Changes.
After this, the project is reviewed by the executive board of UNFCCC. The project gets evaluated on every front and is then registered under UNFCCC only if it meets all the norms. Thereafter, certification is done for the reduction in emission and credits are issued.
CFS has engaged the services of EcoSecurities BV to assist the company through this process.
All Carbon Friendly™ non-Kyoto compliant schemes to generate and verify carbon credits are either fully certified or audited by recognized authorities or governing bodies that include a Registered Professional Forester or Biologist.
Warmer temperatures could widen disease-carrying rodents and bugs, such as mosquitoes and ticks, increasing the incidence of insect-borne illnesses like dengue fever, malaria, encephalitis and other afflictions.
